We have been absolutely blown away by the support we've received from everyone over the last month!
From all of us on the Mystery Egg Games team: Thank you, sincerely. We appreciate each and every one of you who pitched in or signal boosted this Kickstarter-- it's been such a rollarcoaster of emotions and we can't thank you enough for helping Hero.EXE be the best it can be! Let's do one final rundown of where we stand:
The Results
Let's see what we've achieved:
100% Funding in under 24 hours: We were absolutely floored by the overwhelmingly positive response to the project! It genuinely warmed our hearts to see so many people wanting our project to succeed.
Kickstarter Staff Pick: Soon after we launched-- we were the most popular videogame on Kickstarter, and were made a Kickstarter staff pick!
Fan Art Contest: We launched a Fan Art Contest, and received some phenomenal artwork-- a bunch of which are featured in the updates!
FOUR STRETCH GOALS! (Two we achieved in just the last 3 days!)
What's Next?
Well, the team is going to take a short break for now to cool off from the rush of work over the last 4 weeks. But after that, we will be heads down working on the game for the foreseeable future.
Kickstarter Deets
We'll be shaking hands with Backerkit shortly to get your backer surveys setup! The survey will cover everything from picking your poster & keychain options, to telling us what name you would like in the credits! Please look out for that update soon!

With the end of our campaign, also comes the end of the Hero.EXE Fan Art Contest.

Dungeon Mode-- Here we come!
WE DID IT!!
We are absolutely blown away by everyone's support!!
With the breaking of the $50K barrier, we are now able to add DUNGEON MODE to the final release and upcoming beta builds. DUNGEON MODE will be Hero.EXE's own Roguelite gametype, where you will start with just an AVA and a basic deck setup and fight your way through a series of branching encounters, earning loot to upgrade your build along the way!
Less than 2 hours remain for the campaign, let's see how far we can go until then!

The Fan Art Contest will end at the same time as the Campaign, but is still going strong even now! Here are some highlights of the awesome work we've seen so far from the community!
